the geology of Hells Canyon by jet boat. You will cruise into the deepest part
of Hells Canyon while experiencing the majestic scenery all around you. A
stop to see American pictographs and hear canyon lore about early
homestead life will help you imagine how difficult canyon living was. The water
is warm and there may be time to swim, so come prepared! Don't forget your
camera!

Today (Thursday, July 24, 2008) we made this boat trip and it was super.
What an adventure, we will never forget. Mark was great, the best captain we
ever met. At the end of the trip, Mark stopped and pointed to a brown bear
with two cubs. We were impressed, but also surprised. Just minutes before
the whole group was swimming in the water and not far from that area, where
the mother bear was walking. We took a lot of photo's from that mother bear
and her cubs (big zoom lens) and if you need those photo's, I can send them
to you. We had a great day, we'll come back and tell other people about this
